- Rim the edge of a chilled cocktail glass with pink sanding sugar. To do this, dip the rim of the glass in a shallow dish of Karo corn syrup, then dip it in a separate shallow dish of pink sanding sugar, turning the glass to coat the rim evenly.
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the coconut rum, pineapple juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, and grenadine. Shake well for 30 seconds to combine or until well chilled.
- Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish the cocktail with a pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry.
